A Merchant mariner physical is required for admittance to the U.S. Coast Guard.

Apply for your red book, medical certificate with your completed U.S. coast guard physical and drug test.

Medical Certificate can be applied to once a coast guard physical is done showing that mariner meets the required medical and physical standards.
